Schema / JSON-LD Checker
Structured data tells machines exactly who your firm is: its name, offices, practice and people. This check reads the JSON-LD, microdata and RDFa on a page, lists the schema.org types it declares, and flags errors and missing fields.

How this check works
Fetch the page
We request the page you enter and read its HTML as a crawler receives it.
Extract structured data
We collect every JSON-LD block, plus microdata and RDFa, and check that each JSON-LD block parses.
Compare with recommendations
For each type we list the fields present and the recommended fields that are missing, with extra attention to Organization, LegalService and LocalBusiness.
For law firms: Organization describes the firm as a whole (name, logo, website, social profiles). LegalService is a schema.org type of LocalBusiness meant for legal practices, so each office can be a LegalService with its own address, phone and hours. Attorneys are best described as Person, linked to the firm.
FAQ
Common questions
What is schema markup, and what is JSON-LD?
Schema markup is structured data that uses the schema.org vocabulary to describe what a page is about. JSON-LD is a way of adding it in a script block, and it is the format Google recommends.
Which schema types should a law firm use?
An Organization or LegalService block on the homepage with name, URL, logo, address, phone and sameAs links; a LegalService block for each office; Person for attorney bios; and BreadcrumbList or FAQPage where they fit the page.
Does structured data make AI recommend my firm?
No markup guarantees that. It gives search engines and AI systems an unambiguous description of who you are and where you practice, which helps them represent you accurately.
Why does it check only one page?
Structured data is added page by page. Run it on your homepage, a practice-area page and an attorney bio to see how your templates differ.
What is the difference between an error and a missing field?
An error, such as invalid JSON, means the block can’t be read at all. A missing recommended field means the block is readable but less complete than it could be.
